Theatre in the Mill

Upcoming performances at Theatre in the Mill:

Riptide - The Lucy Ones

Step into an immersive adventure that augments your surroundings for a month. The Lucky Ones is a new form of experience for one audience member at a time.
This experience is part theatre, part video game, part escape room.
It starts with something being delivered to your home, and from there the narrative unfolds.

Radical Acts

Common Wealth

Join Common Wealth for a sharing of our week-long workshop on Radical Acts - a celebration of disobedient action that women have taken to make change throughout history and the present day. All movement in the piece, every action, every gesture is historical and all text spoken is contemporary, from personal experiences of the radical for women today. The acts together will make a collage of radical experience that reflect the everyday and the epic. The piece will be multi-lingual and the acts will be based on local, national and international history.
Followed by a Q&A.

The Rumba Bar

Punam Ramchurn and Cathy Crabb

Everyone is an immigrant apart from ex-pats. Played by Sushil Chudasama (pictured), Dhillan’s story is about a South Asian man, setting up a bar in Spain, having a mid-life crisis and finding resolution with his family and business through a series of calamities. Themes include identity, migration, family, ex-pats and being 'Asian' abroad... This will be a rehearsed reading and a showing of scenes to give a taste of the work to come. We would love to have a diverse audience to feedback and chat to us about the work. Come and share our journey at the first step.

We've updated our gin selection at Theatre in the Mill
