Diverse Voices 2018 Screenwriting Contest, deadline 15 April

The deadline is 15 April for the Spring 2018 Diverse Voices Screenwriting Contest, full details below:

Diverse Voices Deadline on April 15th
Diverse Voices strives to provide a contest that is purely focused on promoting and encouraging diverse voices in Hollywood.

The winners receive 3 months of screenplay development before getting exposure to the industry. Past winners have signed with Hollywood Literary Management Companies and optioned their projects to producers.

The contest encourages stories that are told from perspectives that are often underrepresented in Hollywood today — according to the WGA diversity report that is writers of color, women writers, and writers over the age of 40. We’d also love to see stories from the perspective of writers with disabilities, writers in the LGBTQ+ community, and any other voice that is currently underrepresented in Hollywood today.

In just two years, Diverse Voices has raised $10,000 for charity and we're looking to increase the support in 2018.
